Wedding Chapels in Las Vegas

  • By admin

Wedding Chapels in Las Vegas can be quite cheap looking and located in less desirable parts of Las Vegas.  A great alternative to wedding chapels in Las Vegas is to have a wedding right on the famous Las Vegas Strip.  The famous Las Vegas Strip is an absolute gold mine for great places to take Las Vegas wedding photos!  From the famous Bellagio Fountain show to the fabulous Las Vegas Sign, photo opportunities abound.  What better place to have your Las Vegas wedding?

You can have a Las Vegas limousine take you to your Las Vegas Strip wedding as well as to your other photo locations or, if you prefer, you can also plan areas that would allow you to walk.  Either way, you are sure to get fabulous photos outside of the wedding chapels in Las Vegas!

Neon Museum Photographer

  • By admin

Being a Neon Museum photographer is a lot of fun!  The historic signs make such fantastic backdrops for Las Vegas wedding photography, Las Vegas senior portraits, Las Vegas engagement photography, and HDR photography.  The photos below are from a recent Neon Museum photo shoot.  My husband, Trey Tomsik, was taking fantastic photos of a wedding couple in the Sign Boneyard while I stayed out of the way and had a bit of fun with some HDR photography.

We had less than 45 minutes of daylight during the time slot that the couple booked with the Neon Museum, but it was great to have the few signs that are powered lit up for the photo shoot.  We used a couple of off-camera flashes for the couple at the end when it was pretty dark, but even those photos turned out well.

We can be booked for $350 for 1 hour to do your Neon Museum/Sign Boneyard photo shoot.  You must first reserve a time slot and pay the Neon directly before you book with us.  It is a little pricey to book the Museum ($400-$600), so you definitely want to hire a photographer who has shot there many times!

Photography Las Vegas

  • By admin

Photography in Las Vegas can be fun!  You can have a photo shoot at many great locations in Las Vegas.  The Neon Museum/Sign Boneyard is one of the many great places in the Las Vegas area for a great engagement or wedding photo shoot.  The most important aspect for your Las Vegas photography is to find a professional Las Vegas photographer.  You want to be sure that the money that you spend on Las Vegas photography is money well spent!  You should see a full portfolio of the location or locations that you would like to use for your Las Vegas photo shoot backdrop.  Ask the right questions when interviewing your Las Vegas photographer.  Do you receive all photo rights?  Do you receive all digital images?  Are you going to be forced to do your photo printing through your photographer?  These are all things that you should consider when choosing a Las Vegas photographer.  Also, if the price is just really too good to be true, than either your photographer is not experienced and cannot get much work or there is some catch to the deal!

Las Vegas Wedding Photographers

Las Vegas Wedding Photographers

Las Vegas Wedding Photographers are not all created equal! Unfortunately, here in Las Vegas there are quite a few people calling themselves “professional Las Vegas Wedding Photographers” and they really are not. They may be making a living as a photographer, but they may do no better than having your grandma or best friend take wedding photos for you.

When selecting a Las Vegas Wedding Photographer or a Las Vegas Wedding company, make sure you know whom the person is who will be taking the most important photographs of your whole life! Ask to see an extensive portfolio of photos taken by that individual. Anyone can get lucky with a couple of good photos, but you should see consistently good photos, not just a handful. Does their portfolio include photos of wedding couples with cut off the ankles, the knees, or the waist? Do you see photos with something growing out of their heads (the Eiffel Tower for example)? Are their subjects centered in every photo? Are the photos overexposed (too bright) or underexposed (too dark)? The answer to all of the above questions should be NO!

We are professional Las Vegas Wedding photographers with professional equipment. We do not just call ourselves professionals and all of the best equipment in the world does not make great photographs. On our website, you will see that we have taken photos for thousands of couples! You can see additional photo galleries on each of our package pages. You can read the testimonials on our website and you can also see our reviews on weddingwire.com, facebook, Google places, etc…

There is not one Las Vegas wedding company or Las Vegas wedding photographer that is the right fit for every couple and we understand this. We just want all couples to make informed decisions when choosing the company or photographer for their special day because it is not something you can “do over” and all you have to take home with you are your memories and hopefully a lot of fantastic photographs!

If stunning wedding photographs are important to you, this is a great choice.

Las Vegas Garden Gazebo Weddings

Our beautiful and romantic Garden Gazebo offers a very elegant setting for your Las Vegas outdoor destination wedding. During the spring and early summer, the Garden Gazebo is in bloom with dozens of red and white roses. During the fall and winter, bright orange and red berries make a magnificent backdrop for an outside Las Vegas Wedding.

Mount Charleston Wedding Packages

Mt. Charleston is really hard to beat for a summer outdoor Las Vegas wedding venue. Temperatures are about 20-30 degrees cooler than in the Las Vegas Valley. Also with the beautiful mountain backdrop and the forest made up of Aspen and Pine trees, it is an awesome outdoor wedding location.

Lakeside Weddings in Las Vegas

A wonderful choice for an outdoor wedding venue in Las Vegas is our lakeside wedding location. You can have your Las Vegas wedding ceremony right next to the beautiful lake. Our lakeside wedding location is a great choice year round. It is also one of our most affordable destination wedding locations.

Lake Mead Weddings

Another great lakeside option for your outdoor Las Vegas Wedding is Lake Mead. Your Lake Mead wedding ceremony takes place on edge of a cliff (but not too close) overlooking beautiful Lake Mead. You can also choose to have additional wedding photos taken at the famous Hoover Dam.

Nelson Ghost Town

For a unique destination wedding location, Nelson Ghost Town is the perfect choice for your outdoor Las Vegas Wedding. We have just started offering Nelson Ghost Town weddings and it is definitely a wedding location like nowhere else! If you are up for a Las Vegas adventure wedding, this is just perfect for you. There are such a great variety of backdrops from old cars and trucks to movie set memorabilia, that the photo opportunities are endless.

Weddings at Lake Las Vegas

Another great outdoor wedding venue in Las Vegas is Lake Las Vegas. Our Lake Las Vegas wedding packages include Las Vegas Wedding Officiant and Las Vegas Wedding Photographer. We can assist you in booking your Lake Las Vegas Wedding on a gondola, on a yacht, or at a Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Grand Canyon Weddings

Another adventure wedding in Las Vegas is getting married at the Grand Canyon. This outdoor wedding begins with a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. You are married on a plateau overlooking the Colorado River and have incredible scenery surrounding you for your wedding photographs.

Red Rock Canyon Weddings

Red Rock Canyon makes a stunning setting for your outdoor Las Vegas wedding. Red Rock Canyon is located about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and is a “must see” for any trip to Las Vegas. Weddings at Red Rock Canyon are definitely a Las Vegas favorite for outdoor weddings.

Las Vegas New Year’s Eve Weddings

  • By admin

Las Vegas New Year’s Eve Weddings

What better way to ring in the New Year, than to have your Las Vegas Strip Wedding at midnight at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign with fireworks erupting in the background as you are being pronounced husband and wife? Every New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas, Scenic Las Vegas Weddings offers this package to one lucky couple!

This New Year’s 2011-12 was dubbed “America’s Party: Las Vegas New Year 2012″ and included a spectacular fireworks show, fired from the roofs of the Tropicana, MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island (TI), The Venetian, and the Stratosphere. A total of over 56,000 explosions lasted more than 8 minutes.

New Year’s eve is a great time to be in Vegas. Ring out the old and ring in the new, the Las Vegas way. New Year’s eve in Las Vegas is always packed on the Vegas strip and this year was not exception. The 2011 Las Vegas New Year’s Eve celebrations drew over 314,000 visitors to Las Vegas! The entire 4 miles of the Vegas strip closes down to vehicles for one night each year and the celebration begins!

On New Year’s Even in Las Vegas, the Vegas Strip becomes a giant pedestrian mall and everyone parties outside till midnight. Tens of thousands of visitors walk the Vegas strip decked out in silly hats, noisemakers and holiday cheer.

New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas 2012-2013

We recommend that you book your hotel early. Hotel rooms sell out early and prices can soar for the holiday, so make sure to book your room as soon as possible to get the best prices and your first choice of accommodations. With all of the star-studded parties, fireworks and headliner concerts, there’s nowhere else on earth quite like Las Vegas to ring in the New Year and everyone knows it.

If you decide to stay on the Strip, the best ways to get around on New Year’s Eve are by taxi, walking, or using the Las Vegas Monorail. If you have a car and want to park in a hotel garage, you might want to choose one that’s near one of the ends of the Strip rather than in the middle. It’ll be easier to get out once you decide you’ve had enough and want to head back to your hotel. Mandalay Bay is a great place to stay for your Las Vegas New Year’s Eve wedding. You can walk to the Las Vegas Sign in about 10 minutes.

If you are interested in being our lucky 2012-2013 Las Vegas New Year’s Eve couple, please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your wedding! See our Las Vegas Weddings Specials page for details.
