Affordable Las Vegas Wedding Packages
We offer very affordable options for your Las Vegas Wedding. You don’t have to do a cheesy chapel wedding to stay within budget! ALL of our affordable Las Vegas Wedding packages include: Wedding Officiant, professional photographer, ALL photos taken on DVD with all photo rights given to you. Our Garden Gazebo, Chapel, Las Vegas Strip, and Lakeside wedding packages start at $299. You can do a Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, or Nelson Ghost Town wedding with us for $599.
When you book an affordable Las Vegas Wedding package, you need to be careful about what you have actually purchased when you book your seemingly “affordable” Las Vegas Wedding Package. Are the minister fees included? How many photos do you get? Do you get photo rights? Have you seen YOUR photographer’s portfolio? Are there chapel fees? If permits are required, are they included?
We recently did a little research on the other wedding companies in town and we found that some Las Vegas Wedding chapels advertise wedding packages starting at between $199 and $299, but they only include between 4-12 photos and then you are allowed to purchase additional photos (but no prices were listed).
For affordable Valley of Fire Weddings, we found that you could get a package with another company for $997 and it would only include photos taken during the actual ceremony. At another company, for $1200, you are given 12 photos.
When your wedding day is over, you only have your photos (and video if you have video) to remember your Valley of Fire Wedding and do you really only want 12 photos? And not even on CD or DVD! We want all of our couples to have as many great photos as we can possibly take for you.
To be fair, some of these packages at other Las Vegas wedding companies did include limousine transportation and/or flowers. We have a limousine that we can offer to our couples at a very affordable price, but we keep our package prices lower, so you can decide what type of transportation you want. You may want to have executive security , to rent a limo party bus, an exotic car, a rental car, or you may have driven to Las Vegas in your own car. We also work with one of the best and most reasonable florists in town, so you can get exactly what you want for your Las Vegas Wedding day.

Valley of Fire Sunset Weddings
Valley of Fire sunset weddings are our most requested Valley of Fire wedding packages. Valley of Fire offers beautiful and romantic sunsets nearly every day of the year. You will arrive at your Valley of Fire wedding approximately 1-1 ½ hours prior to actual sunset (depending on which wedding package was booked). You will have plenty of time for daytime Valley of Fire wedding photography in addition to your Valley of Fire sunset shots.
Reasons to Choose Valley of Fire Sunset Weddings
In photography, there are two different times of day that are considered to provide the best lighting, and they are the first hour of sunlight during the day and the last hour of sunlight in the afternoon. Photographers often refer to these two periods of time as the golden hour (sometimes also known as the magic hour). Typically, lighting is softer (more diffuse) and warmer in hue, and shadows are longer.
In the middle of the day, the bright overhead sun can create too-bright highlights and dark shadows. The degree to which overexposure can occur varies because different types of film and digital cameras have different dynamic ranges. This harsh-lighting problem is particularly important in wedding photography, where a fill flash is often necessary to balance lighting across the subject’s face or body, filling in strong shadows that are usually considered undesirable. Because the contrast is less during the golden hour, shadows are less dark, and highlights are less likely to be overexposed. In landscape photography or in outdoor scenic wedding photography, the warm color of the low sun is often considered desirable to enhance the colors of the scene.
You also will not be squinting in your wedding photos, your guests will not be in the blazing sun, and we can often get you very nice silhouette shots as well.
Reasons to Choose Valley of Fire Sunset Weddings with Scenic Las Vegas Weddings
Most photographers, unfortunately, cannot take proper exposures for sunset time. It requires a true professional to be able to properly light a wedding couple and still have a beautiful sunset background. Scenic Las Vegas has two professional Las Vegas Wedding photographers who are very experienced in Las Vegas sunset and Valley of Fire sunset wedding photography. If your Valley of Fire wedding photos are very important to you, you should not book your Valley of Fire sunset wedding with a company that either will not tell you who your photographer will be or only has a few decent Valley of Fire sunset shots on their website.

Lakeside Weddings in Las Vegas
History of Lakeside at Tule Springs (Floyd Lamb Park)
Eons ago Tule Springs was much cooler and wetter than it is today. During that prehistoric time, large mammals lived in the canons and lush valleys of the area. These animals included mammoths, bison, horse camels, giant sloths, and others. Tule Springs is well known in the scientific work as one of the best fossil sites in the world.
Tule Springs passed from an occasional campsite for nomadic hunters of prehistory to an early 1900s ranch and stage stop. In the 1940s, it morphed into a livestock operation and dude ranch catering to folks seeking six-week Nevada residency for fast divorces. Guests waited out the weeks at Tule Springs Ranch in comfortable rural surroundings with amenities like horseback riding, tennis, swimming and fishing in a reservoir.
Modern Lakeside at Tule Springs
Tule Springs is truly a 2,040-acre oasis in the middle of the Mojave Desert! Tule Springs contains a series of 4 small lakes: Tule Springs Lake, Mulberry Lake, Cottonwood Lake, and Desert Willow Lake. Tule Springs is located approximately 15 miles from downtown Las Vegas.
Many people visit this park to picnic, hike, fish, bicycle, and horseback ride and enjoy birds and other wildlife. The site attracts visitors seeking greenery, shade and water. Visitors arrive today in greater numbers, totaling 200,000 a year.
Lakeside Weddings in Las Vegas
In more recent years, Lakeside at Tule Springs has become a local favorite for Las Vegas weddings, Las Vegas wedding photography, and engagement sessions. With its 4 lakes, abundance of shade trees, historic buildings, and wildlife, it is the perfect setting for Las Vegas Weddings and Photography.
Scenic Las Vegas Weddings has performed more weddings Lakeside at Tule Springs than any other wedding company in Las Vegas. Tule Springs is a great choice for outdoor Las Vegas weddings and photography sessions any time of the year. Contact us today to reserve your Lakeside Wedding or photo shoot!

Valley of Fire History
Valley of Fire is Nevada’s oldest state park and was dedicated in 1935. It is located approximately 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas in the Mojave Desert. It is adjacent to Lake Mead National Recreation Area and varies in elevation from 2,000 to 2,600 feet.
The park, which covers an area of almost 36,000 acres, gets its name from its fiery red sandstone. The formations are the result of fossilized sandstone and sand dunes that formed more than 150 million years ago. The area offers some of the Southwest’s most amazing scenery with vivid colors splashed on some of the oldest natural rock formations known to mankind.
The first inhabitants of the Valley of Fire are thought to have migrated to the region about 300 B.C. Ancient Native American tribes survived on a vegetarian diet and ate all kinds of cactus and plants including yucca, mesquite tree, prickly pear and beaver tail. Eventually, other native tribes learned to plant corn and beans and hunt animals like rabbit, sheep and antelope.
Valley of Fire Climate
Winters are mild with temperatures ranging from freezing to 75 degrees F. Daily summer highs usually exceed 100 degrees, and may reach 115 degrees. Summer temperatures usually do not vary widely from day to night. Average annual rainfall is four inches, coming in the form of light winter showers and summer thunderstorms. Valley of Fire is a great destination year round.
Valley of Fire Wildlife
There are many animals that live in Valley of Fire, including; kangaroo rats, kit foxes, coyotes, bighorn sheep, and ground squirrels are just a few of the animals that inhabit the area.
Valley of Fire Today
Now the state park is primarily a tourist destination with 300,000 visitors per year. Movie stars have also been known to visit this popular park. Because of its stunning scenery, movies such as “Total Recall,” “Transformers,” “10,000 B.C.”, “Star Trek Generations,” “Domino,” and “Planet of the Apes” include scenes filmed at the Valley of Fire.
Valley of Fire Weddings
Valley of Fire has become one of the most requested scenic locations for weddings in the greater Las Vegas area. With the stunning red rocks and the fantastic sunsets, Valley of Fire is hard to beat for unbelievable photos! When you book a Valley of Fire Wedding Package 4, you will also have photos taken at the Scenic Overlook shown below.

History of Nelson, Nevada
Nelson is on the Nevada side of the Colorado River in Eldorado Canyon, about 25 miles from Boulder City, Nevada. The area surrounding Nelson, Nevada and Eldorado Canyon was first home to ancient Indian tribes. After living peacefully for hundred of years, the Indians were intruded upon in 1775 by the Spaniards in their quest for gold. The Spaniards founded a small settlement next to the Colorado River and named it Eldorado. However, these early Spaniards missed the rich gold veins just beneath the canyon’s flanks, finding silver instead. They soon found that the silver was not in high enough quantities to justify their operations and they left the area.
Seventy-five years later, in the 1850s, prospectors began sluicing the many streams feeding into the Colorado River. One of the biggest mining booms in state history occurred near here, in the Eldorado Canyon. Silver and Gold were discovered in the area around 1859. The Techatticup became the most successful mine in the area, with millions of dollars in gold, silver, copper and lead mined throughout the years.
The Techatticup Mine, along with dozens of other mines in the area gave way to a number of settlements including Nelson and Eldorado at the edge of the Colorado River. In its heyday, the area established a reputation for being rough and lawless. During the Civil War, deserters from both sides of the war would end up in Nelson, hoping that military authorities would be unable to find them.
Modern Nelson Ghost Town and Nelson’s Landing
Nelson’s Landing, about five miles west in Eldorado Canyon, is famous for washing into Lake Mohave in 1974 after a strong downpour in the surrounding mountains sent the runoff down the channels and produced a flash flood. The entire landing and village was destroyed and nine people died when the flood came through the wash. The wall of water and debris was reported as about 40 feet high as it reached the river.
Much of Nelson, which was not impacted by the 1974 flood, remains today and is located way up the wash, away from the flood channels. The sparsely populated community consists mainly of privately owned ranch houses, and a river and mining tour business housed in a former Texaco gas station that has been used as a filming location for several feature films. Parts of the 2001 film 3000 Miles to Graceland starring Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, and Courtney Cox were filmed in Nelson. The buildings were used for the film in the scene where the Lucky Strike gas station blows up (props from the movie can be seen in a barn on the grounds).
Nelson has a couple old barns, a saloon, gas pumps, old rusted-out vehicles, a water pump and even the remains of a plane crash from 3000 Miles to Graceland. Inside the main building you’ll be able to see a lot of artifacts from the area and dozens of photos of all the movie stars that have filmed movies in the area.
Nelson Ghost Town is now one of the most popular places near Las Vegas to shoot engagement photos, family photos, and of course wedding photos. All of the fantastic props that are leftover from the movies, the old cars, and the ancient buildings, make great backgrounds for wedding and engagement photography. The local owners of the buildings and mine allow photographers on their property for a small fee. Book your Nelson wedding or photo shoot and let us help you make some memories to last a lifetime!
